Brian Connatser has created a great and very usefull tutorial on how to create a external XML feed to use with E4, Data Grids and more. The tutorial is very well set out and easy to follow. It does require from my opinion that you have atleast a basic coding knowledge and an intermidiate knowledge of how XML works.

“This tip will help you create an easy to use, re-usable class that will set up an external XML feed to use E4X, datagrids, etc. I didn’t change any variable names from my working code, so feel free to change them as needed as the variable names don’t relate to any particular thing… ”

Jorge Bucaran has created a very usefull tutorial that teaches you how to upload files via Flash. The tutorial is simple and easy to follow but does require you have atleast a intermidiate coding/programming knowledge.

All the files are available to download for free and you can use them n your wn projects. I have come across this situation myself quote a few times and my script has been slightly different to Jorges im interested to see who has the better soloution at the moment i think its Jorges but wait and see

Uploading in Flash

This was a recent press release over at Adobe press room that states the partnering of these two digital Giants to bring online viewing of the Olympics to viewers all over the world. I can see now that CCTV.com will be getting footage that others just cant even if they tried.

Heres some of the script from the press release:
